Yes — every tour we run is private and tailor-made. The itineraries on this site are starting points. Tell us your interests, pace and budget and we will reshape the route, swap stops, add nights or change the accommodation standard before you commit to anything.

We recommend contacting us at least 2–3 months in advance, especially for travel in spring (March–May), autumn (September–November) or over major holidays. That lets us secure the best riads, camps and guides for your dates.

Yes. We welcome last-minute enquiries and will always do our utmost to put together a great trip on short notice. Availability of specific hotels and desert camps may be limited in peak season, but we can almost always find a good alternative.

We specialise in private tours — your own vehicle, your own driver-guide, your own pace, with no strangers joining. We also offer select small-group departures on popular itineraries; ask us and we will tell you what is scheduled around your dates.

Yes, on selected dates. Small-group departures run on our most popular routes and are a good option for solo travellers who want to share costs. Contact us with your travel window and we will send you what is available.

You will receive a written confirmation by email listing your final itinerary, the accommodation for each night, what is included and excluded, your pick-up details and our 24/7 contact numbers. Nothing is left verbal.

We accept PayPal and secure bank transfer for the deposit. The remaining balance is usually settled in cash (euros, dollars or dirhams) on arrival in Morocco, or by transfer in advance if you prefer.

A modest deposit of typically 20–30% of the tour price confirms your booking and locks in your dates and accommodation. The exact amount is stated in your quote before you pay anything.

The balance is due shortly before or upon your arrival in Morocco. We will confirm the exact arrangement in writing with your booking confirmation, so there are no surprises.

Prices are quoted per person and depend on group size, since the cost of a private vehicle and driver is shared. The more of you travelling, the lower the per-person price. Your quote always states the total clearly.

No. Your quote itemises exactly what is included and what is not — typically excluded are international flights, lunches, drinks, personal expenses, travel insurance and optional tips. Nothing is added afterwards.

The Moroccan dirham (MAD) is a closed currency, so bring euros, pounds or dollars and exchange them on arrival — airports, banks and city exchange offices all offer fair rates. Cards work in cities; carry cash for rural areas, souks and tips.

Yes. Children sharing a room with parents are charged at a reduced rate, and per-person prices drop as group size increases. Tell us your group make-up and ages and we will price it accordingly.

Cancellation terms are set out in writing in your booking confirmation before you pay. In general, the earlier you cancel the more you recover — deposits cover commitments we have already made to riads, camps and guides on your behalf. Contact us as soon as you know and we will always try to help.

Yes, wherever availability allows. Date changes requested well in advance are usually straightforward and free of charge. Changes close to departure may incur costs passed on by hotels or camps.

Absolutely — that is the advantage of a private tour. If you want to linger somewhere, skip a stop or add an experience, tell your driver-guide. Anything that changes accommodation or adds a paid activity we will confirm the cost of first.

Get in touch immediately. We handle genuine emergencies case by case and will do whatever we can, including moving your booking to a future date. This is also exactly what travel insurance is for, which is why we recommend it.

In the very rare event we cannot operate a tour — for reasons outside anyone’s control such as extreme weather or road closures — we will offer you an alternative itinerary, alternative dates, or a refund of what you have paid for the unfulfilled portion.

It is not included in our tours and we strongly recommend it. A policy covering medical care, trip cancellation and lost baggage costs very little compared with the trip and protects you against everything outside our control.

You receive a written confirmation with your final day-by-day itinerary, the accommodation for every night, inclusions and exclusions, your pick-up time and place, and direct phone and WhatsApp numbers for us. We stay reachable from that moment until you fly home.

Yes — a complete day-by-day plan showing the route, driving times, the sights and stops each day, which meals are included, and where you sleep. We refine it together until you are happy before anything is confirmed.

Your driver-guide meets you at your hotel, riad or the airport arrivals hall holding a sign with your name. You get their name and mobile number in advance, so you always know exactly who you are looking for.

Yes, 24/7. You will have direct phone and WhatsApp numbers for our office as well as your driver-guide’s number. If anything at all comes up, day or night, you can reach a real person locally.

Let us know as soon as you can and we will adjust the pick-up. Your driver monitors your flight, so short delays are handled automatically. For longer disruptions we will rework the first day of the itinerary around your new arrival time.

Yes. Extra nights, a cooking class, a hammam, a hot-air balloon flight or a guided city walk can all be added before or even during the trip. We will confirm the extra cost before booking anything on your behalf.

Citizens of the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia and many other countries do not need a visa for stays up to 90 days — you simply need a passport valid for at least six months. Always check the current rules with your own embassy before you fly, as requirements can change.

Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures nationwide and are our busiest seasons. Summer suits the Atlantic coast and mountains; winter brings crisp days, quiet cities and snow in the Atlas. The Sahara is rewarding year-round, though desert nights are cold in winter.

Layers — Moroccan days are warm and nights, especially in the desert and mountains, are cold. Bring comfortable walking shoes for the medinas, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat or scarf for the dunes, a light jacket, any personal medication, and a small overnight bag for the desert camp.

Morocco is relaxed but modest dress is appreciated, particularly in rural areas and religious sites — shoulders and knees covered is a good rule. Loose, breathable fabrics are the most comfortable in the heat. There is no dress code at hotels, camps or beaches.

No vaccinations are required for entry from most countries. Routine immunisations should be up to date, and some travellers choose hepatitis A and typhoid cover. Check with your doctor or a travel clinic a few weeks before departure.

We recommend bottled water, which is inexpensive and available everywhere. Bottled water is provided in the vehicle throughout your tour. Tap water is generally treated in cities but visitors’ stomachs adjust more comfortably to bottled.

Yes. Coverage is good across cities, towns and most of the main routes, though it thins out deep in the desert. A local SIM or eSIM is cheap and easy to buy at the airport, and most riads, hotels and even many desert camps have Wi-Fi.

A riad is a traditional Moroccan house built around an interior courtyard or garden, usually in the heart of a medina. They are quiet, beautifully decorated and far more atmospheric than a standard hotel — staying in one is part of the experience.

Our luxury camps in the Erg Chebbi dunes have private en-suite tents with real beds, proper bathrooms and hot water, a shared dining tent, dinner under the stars and Berber music around the fire. Standard camps offer a simpler version of the same experience.

Yes. We quote standard, superior and luxury levels, and you can mix them — many guests choose a luxury desert camp and comfortable riads elsewhere. Tell us your preference and we will price the options.

Yes, though a single supplement applies since room rates are based on two people sharing. We will always show this clearly in your quote rather than burying it.

Breakfast is included every day, and dinner is included at the desert camp and at most overnight stops outside the cities. Your itinerary states exactly which meals are included each day.

A private, air-conditioned vehicle sized to your group — a 4×4 for smaller parties and a minivan for larger ones. It is yours alone for the whole tour; you never share with other travellers.

Yes. Your driver-guide speaks English (and often French or Spanish) and shares the history and culture of everywhere you pass through. In the imperial cities we also bring in licensed local guides who specialise in that medina.

Morocco is a big country and some days involve four to six hours on the road, broken up by scenic stops, viewpoints, tea breaks and lunch. Your itinerary shows the driving time each day, and because the tour is private you can stop whenever you like.

Yes, on all tours that start in a city with an airport. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign and takes you straight to your riad or hotel.

Yes, free of charge — just tell us the ages of the children when you book so we can fit the right seats.

As often as you like. This is one of the real advantages of a private tour: there is no group waiting on you, so if a view is worth stopping for, you stop.

Camels are led on foot at walking pace by experienced local guides, and the ride from the edge of the dunes to camp takes roughly an hour, timed for sunset. It is gentle rather than strenuous, and no experience is needed.

Yes. The camels are calm, well cared for and always led. If you would rather not ride at all — or want to ride only one way — we will take you to camp by 4×4 instead at no extra cost.

Dinner is served under the stars, followed by Berber drumming around the fire. The silence and the sky afterwards are what most guests remember. You can climb a dune for sunrise the next morning before breakfast.

Colder than people expect. Summer nights are pleasant, but from October to March temperatures can drop close to freezing. Camps provide thick blankets, and we recommend bringing a warm layer for the evening.

At our luxury camps, yes — every tent is en-suite with a proper toilet, sink and hot shower. Standard camps have shared facilities. Your itinerary states which type you are booked into.

Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) has the tall, classic golden dunes and is worth the extra driving. Zagora is closer to Marrakech but the scenery is stonier and less dramatic. If you have three days or more, we always recommend Merzouga.

Yes — a 4×4 sunset dune drive is included on several of our desert tours, and sandboarding, quad biking and visits to nomadic families can all be added. Just ask when we are building your itinerary.

Yes. Many of our most popular routes are one-way — Marrakech to Fes, Tangier to Marrakech, Fes to Marrakech. Flying into one city and out of another usually means you see far more of the country.

Yes, within reason. Start times are set to fit the driving and the sights, but if you are not a morning person, say so and we will build the days around you.

Tipping is customary in Morocco but entirely at your discretion and never included in the price. If you have enjoyed your driver-guide’s company, a tip at the end of the tour is a kind gesture and always appreciated.

Yes. We regularly host guests in their seventies and eighties. We can reduce daily driving, choose hotels with lifts and ground-floor rooms, replace the camel trek with a 4×4 transfer, and build in rest days.

To a large extent, yes. Our vehicles are comfortable and we can select accessible accommodation. Be aware that Morocco’s ancient medinas have narrow lanes, steps and uneven cobbles that are genuinely difficult for wheelchairs — contact us and we will be honest about what will and will not work.

Yes, and many of our guests are solo women. On a private tour you are with a vetted driver-guide throughout and staying in accommodation we know. Standard precautions apply as they would anywhere, and modest dress reduces unwanted attention.
