Casablanca tours are the long circuits. Because Mohammed V is the country's main international airport, these itineraries are built for people who land there and want to see a lot of Morocco in one trip rather than treating the city as a destination.

The pattern is a loop: south to Marrakech, over the Atlas to Aït Ben Haddou and the kasbah road, east through the gorges to the dunes, then north to Fes and often on to Chefchaouen before returning to Casablanca. Five days covers a compressed version; twelve to fifteen days does it properly.

If you have under a week and are flying into Casablanca, consider transferring to Marrakech or Fes and starting there instead — you will spend less of your holiday on the motorway.
