Tours from Tangier split into two kinds. The short ones — three and four days — stay in the north: Chefchaouen, Fes, Rabat and Asilah, which is a good circuit if you have arrived by ferry from Spain and have a long weekend.
The longer ones cross the whole country. Five days and up run south through Chefchaouen and Fes to the dunes at Merzouga, then west through the gorges to Marrakech. That is a lot of ground, and at five days it is a demanding schedule; seven or more is more comfortable.
All of them can start at Tanger Med port on the day you arrive, which saves a night in the city if you would rather push on.
Yes. We meet the Tarifa and Algeciras ferries at Tangier Ville or Tanger Med, and can start the same day. Give us the sailing you are booked on and we will build the first day around the arrival time.
On most Tangier routes, yes — it is two hours south and the natural first stop. Check the individual itinerary, which lists every overnight. If a tour you like does not include it, we can add a night there.
The longer ones do. Tangier sits at the top of the country, so reaching Merzouga and returning takes time: allow at least eight days if the dunes matter to you. Shorter Tangier trips concentrate on the north — Chefchaouen, Tetouan and the Rif.
Most run north to south and finish in Marrakech, so you fly home from a different city than you arrived in. Round trips back to Tangier are possible and add roughly two days of driving.
